      Gale.-- There was a heavy gale at Buffalo, on the 12th.... The wind blowing from the south and the west....The GREAT WESTERN was driven from her moorings against the WISCONSIN, displacing several of her own stancheons. Some 60 feet of the new hurricane deck of the WISCONSIN, not yet being fully secured, was ripped off by the wind and carried ashore, lodging on top of the warehouse and breaking in a large piece of the roof...
