RELEASED IN DAMAGED CONDITION.
The schooner J.B. WILBUR, which ran ashore on Sawlog Point, Georgian Bay, while en route from Chicago to Midland, with a cargo of 23,000 bushels of corn, has been released in damaged condition and will be repaired at Owen Sound. The vessel is now at Midland, where agents of the Underwriters are selling the wet corn for hog feed. Insurance on the cargo amounted to $6,800, but no insurance is carried on the vessel.
