DE GRAFF DAMAGED BY STEAMER SONORA
A broke hawser sent the steel freighter SONORA crashing into the L. S. DE GRAFF as the former was leaving the harbor in tow of the tug CONNEAUT last night. The DE GRAFF was lying at the Lackawanna coal docks. Both are big boats and one estimate of the damage to the DE GRAFF places it at $2,000. The DE GRAFF is owned by the Weston Transit Company of Tonawanda and the SONORA by G. A. Tomlinson of Duluth.
