Accidents At Chicago. -- The Post of Monday evening has the following long list of accidents in and about that harbor:
About half-pat 11 o'clock on Saturday night a serious collision occurred off Lincoln Park. It seems the tug A. B. WARD had in tow the schooner SAN JACINTO, lumber laden, inward bound, with lights and signals properly placed, and everything all right. For a mile ahead of them the could see a schooner, light, making her way out, but when within a short distance the LAKE FOREST, for that was the schooner, made a sharp turn to starboard and ran directly across the bow of the SAN JACINTO, the tug in the meantime having swung around out of the way. The SAN JACINTO had her stern twisted, jibboom carried away, and her head gear badly damaged, and also was found leaking. The LAKE FOREST was cut down nine strakes and was otherwise injured.
