Wales (Tug), sunk by collision, 16 May 1890

While coming up the river for this port the propeller CANISTEO collided with the Canadian tug WALES, towing the barge WALES, bound for Tonawanda. The Canadian boat went to the bottom just below the old blast furnace and has not been raised yet.
