Detroit, Oct. 14. -- Several girls were injured when flying glass from broken windows, and 100 more had a narrow escape from death, when the ferry steamer ARIEL, running between Walkerville, Ont., and Detroit, collided yesterday with a small freighter. There were about 100 girl employees of the local factories aboard the ferry.
