The scow ALBA, in endeavoring to enter the harbor at a late hour on Friday night, went on the 'bar' and before noon on Saturday, had broken up. Her crew were saved. She was freighted with a cargo of lumber from White Lake. She was a craft of 83 tons burden, and was owned by Charles Scoville & Co., of Chicago.
