Last October the tug GLADIATOR was burned at the Soo and in order to save a portion of her hull, she was sunk.. She was raised last May and brought here to be rebuilt, and the work is about completed. The repairs cost $8,000, and the boat is practically new. She leaves for the Soo next week and will be stationed there for wrecking purposes. She is owned by B.B & C.B. Moiles.
